Christophe Scaife

Christoph joined the Atrato Group in February 2022 and is focused on transitioning Atrato’s ESG policy into a Sustainable Investment strategy for the group.

Christoph has over 12 years of experience working on sustainable investments in the alternative asset space. He has worked on various projects, including the development of policies for sovereign wealth funds, and as the Environmental, Social and Governance Specialist, responsible for managing all sustainability matters for four DFI funded alternative asset funds in the EMEA region at Ninety One (formerly Investec Asset Management). Christoph has worked on over 120 investment projects in 38 countries over his career, which span various sectors especially renewable energy and infrastructure. He has a keen interest in the closed cyclecar economy and energy transition strategies.

Christoph holds a BCom in Economics, Econometrics, and Investment Management from the University of Johannesburg. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
